Setup: Requires the video_embed_field module the DOM Window module/library and the DOM Window jQuery plugin function correctly. 1. Copy the link address(as shown above) and go to Module> Install new module> Insert copied link address for Video Embed Field Overlay and DOM Window module into the ‘Install from a URL’ bar> Click Install.
Enable modules> Save configuration.
2. Upload the DOM Window jQuery plugin to sites/all/libraries in order for them to be accessible to our site.
3. Go to Configuration, click on Configure Video Embed Styles and edit 'normal'.
Here you can edit your preferences such as: Hide Ude HD or Hide Youtube logo.
4. Navigate to structure/content types/ add content type. Fill in the Name and Title Field Label. Un-click 'promoted to front page' under Publishing Options, 'display author date and information' under Display Settings and set 'Default comment setting for new content' to Hidden. Save and Add Fields.
5. The following screen will take you to Manage fields where we need to add the video field. Add new field label- video, field-video embed and widget-video. You can also go ahead and delete body. On the next screen, you do not need to make any changes- click save. 6. Now we need to add new content. Navigate to Add new content, video and fill in you label and link to video. 7. Go to views, add new view. Show Content of type 'video' Create a page and create a menu link. Continue & edit. 8. Add new field content:video. Apply all displays.
Set Formatter: Overlay, Video style: normal, Show thumbnail: yes, Image style: large and Overlay Library: DOM Window. Apply All Displays.
Save this view and this is what you should see your video on a page. When you click on it, it will show like this
